WELCOME TO AAPA
Creating Friendships, Confident & Active children !
We know that it is hard to find a class that your child will love. Our team has taught thousands of children over the years and know that your child will love our classes !
We run the largest range of classes in the North East of Scotland in Dance, Musical Theatre and Acrobatic Gymnastics. Our classes start from walking/ 18 months old and run through to adulthood. Our classes can be taken just for fun or for more serious study and students can work towards exams, productions, competitions and audition to join our casting agency and we have unlimited package options for those wishing to take part in all the styles of classes that we run.
So why not take a look at all we offer and book your Classes – come along and give them a go!
Who We Are, What We Do – Our Why !
Our studio has 4 core values which form the basis of our teaching philosophy and we expect all our students and families to honour at all times.
Our studio is all inclusive and has the ‘child’ at the centre of all we do. We recognise that every child is different. Every child learns in a different way. Every child has their own unique abilities and talents. Much like our Rainbow wall – every part is unique in colour, size and shape. But it all fits together to make a most wonderful display.
AAPA and Aberdeen Acrobatic Gymnastics Club is a ‘safe space’ for every child. Every child is welcome and we are aware that after a few classes that our studio becomes part of your child’s life. Over the years we may grow to be a big part of your child’s life – For many students AAPA and AAGC becomes their life !
Here are some words from our students which give you an insight into how AAPA has become their life over the last few years…
Being a boy I was quite nervous to start going to classes, however straight away I felt comfortable in a class mainly madeup of girls, they don’t treat me any different, I can just be me and now I have lots of really close friends at AAPA. I am now doing Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Acro when all I started doing was Musical Theatre ! I have definately come out of my comfort zone to try new things.
I started classes at AAPA when I was 7 and I now go almost every day! I love APAA because it keeps me fit and active and I have made lots of new friends. I love doing all the Shows and Competitions – they have given me lots of confidence.
I’ve been with AAPA since I was a baby at the Mac the Monkey classes, moving up each year with new skills and more confidence. The best part is the friendships I’ve made along the way and being part of the AAPA family.
